The primary objective of the Park City School District Preschool is to prepare children to be ready for both academic and social-emotional success.
This camp is geared towards students who have an understanding of chess piece movement, basic mating patterns and a love for everything chess. Students advance their chess knowledge and experience through presentations, hands-on application of new opening positions, tactical ideas, tournament-length gameplay, game analysis and the opportunity to play against each other in a BLITZ tournament! Students continue to grow in their mastery of chess and build upon these ideas and skills in a positive, supportive learning environment.
