Yamuna Body Rolling Introductory Workshop

Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) is a form of self-myofascial release that strengthens and aligns the body utilizing specially designed balls of various sizes and densities to allow you to obtain the deepest fascial release possible. By working against gravity and holding the ball in various positions against your body, YBR will also help build bone density, muscle mass and endurance. For the purposes of this introductory workshop, we'll be using the Pearl Ball only. YBR is a great addition to Pilates, Yoga, your favorite sport, recreational activity, activities of daily living, and a wonderful technique for injury prevention and recovery. No experience necessary. Participants need to be able to get up and down from the floor. Please bring a mat and your smile. Class size is limited to 10.

About Your Instructor: Ira Kaufman (PT, CMLT, CLT) has been an instrumental member of the Pilates community since 1991. They have taught the YBR method for 20 years in group classes and one-on-one, applying Pilates principles and their Physical Therapy expertise for greater results. Ira periodically offers Intro Workshops so clients establish a solid foundation to successfully attend group classes or work on their own. Weekly YBR classes for body sustainability are led by Ira via Zoom every Tuesday at 5:00 PM MT.

This workshop is held at Essence Pilates & Mindful Movement, 597 Parkway Dr, Suite C in Park City (located at Wasatch Physical Therapy, upstairs)
